What to expect:

Our journey begins in Komiža, where we’ll follow a scenic trail leading to Hum, the highest point on Vis Island (587 m). After about 1.5 hours of hiking, we’ll reach the top of the island and take in breathtaking views of Komiža, Komiža bay, and the nearby islands of Biševo and Svetac.

At the top, we’ll visit the historic St. Duh chapel, where you can soak in the stunning landscapes while listening to fascinating local stories from your guide. Here, we’ll enjoy a morning picnic and a well-deserved break before continuing our hike toward St. Mihovil.

Along the way, we’ll pass above Tito’s cave, a site of historical significance.

As we descend back to Komiža, we’ll walk through picturesque vineyards and olive groves, surrounded by the intoxicating scents of rosemary, lavender, and other Mediterranean herbs. You’ll also discover their traditional uses on the island, adding a cultural touch to our adventure.

Level of this tour is Intermediate. Not recommended for travelers with back problems, pregnant women, individuals with heart conditions, or other serious medical concerns. This tour is also not suitable for children under the age of 12. The hike to Hum, the highest peak, can be combined with a car transfer to shorten the tour.
