BLUE CAVE & MONK SEAL CAVE

ABOUT BLUE CAVE AND MONK SEAL CAVE TOUR

Experience the outstanding beauty of the Blue cave, swim in the Monk seal cave, and relax on the beautiful sandy beach Porat, which offers plenty of shade on hot summer days.

The island of Biševo is located five nautical miles from the town of Komiža on Vis island and is best known for its rare natural phenomenon, the Blue Cave. On the island, there is also the Monk seal cave – a cave where the Mediterranean monk seal used to reside. Visitors can swim and snorkel inside the cave and see a small beach where monk seals used to come ashore. Sandy beach Porat is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the island of Biševo. It is secluded beneath the cliffs on Biševo Island’s western coast. Above the beach, there are pine trees that provide shade. The bay is crystal clear, making it a real pleasure to swim in.
